Dancing in the Streets
Pretty decent recording but missing 3 tunes from middle of set plus the MUSIC 1st set closer. Jerry has some issues with his voice but he doesn't let that

stop him from rocking out. Highlight for me was the Dancing in the Streets. Just like the funkiness of it. In this case the soundboard exposes Garcia's voice but I would still rather listen to a board or matrix then most audience recordings any day. Bob says something about 'sorry about the Redskins' with the U,S, blues closer. They probably lost a Thanksgiving game?

out to me. It was on Thanksgiving and I remember everything being closed except one drive-through which had a line of cars completely around the building and down the block; wondering what it was as we drove by I saw the clerk hand a couple of cases of beer out the drive-through window!

This is in Landover MD- Great show!
This is a fun show- nice jams but some indesirable audience patches from a decent source albeit yet still dissapoints. There are questions as to this

shows location. It is from Capitol Centre in Landover MD, which is where the DC hockey team plays- the Dead played there roughly a couple dozen times. The next night (11/24)is from Passaicc NJ's Capital Theater. NIce dancin yet truncated and nice opening version of Franklins. Terrapin sort of fissles but is well played and the playing jams as well as shakedown are well executed. Jerrys voice is starting to crack...which is scene the next night, although infamous- 11/24 features a raspy Garcia. Its a great peice of music and collection material. 4 star playing but th erecording althogh a nice sbd, has too many audience patches to be truly enjoyable. I shut it off after the shakedown..Terrapin is also vertually all aud quality. Great show show just not terrific recording as a whole. After a while these audience patches degrade the experience- but hey I just listened to the entire show so thanks archive and thanks for the upload!.
